KitchenAid

One of the best kitchen aids you will ever have

The KitchenAid brand is synonymous with high performance, style, and reliability. KitchenAid offers a wide array of products that are ideal for providing the instruments and accessories necessary for a well-equipped kitchen. The KitchenAid product line includes items such as refrigerators, convection ovens, stainless-steel interior dishwashers, and classic stand mixers. Regardless of your needs, KitchenAid can provide a high-quality solution.

The designers of KitchenAid appliances and culinary accessories have recognized the importance of not only providing their customers with a diverse product range, but providing customers with an array of colors in order to satisfy their individual color palettes. After all, it only stands to reason that not all customers were interested in the standard white colour offered by most other manufacturers and brands. Therefore, beginning in the mid-1950s, KitchenAid began offering its portable appliances and culinary accessories in a variety of different colors. Some of these unique new colors included: Petal Pink, Sunny Yellow, Island Green, Satin Chrome and Antique Copper. Although these colors represented a bold departure from the traditional white appliances, these colors became a signature of KitchenAid appliances and accessories. In fact, even today, many people recognize KitchenAid products through their use of unique colours.

The emergence of KitchenAid products began in 1908 when an engineer by the name of Herbert Johnson designed a non-labor intensive mixer for bread dough. Soon after, many professional bakers were using his device because of the increased efficiency and effectiveness this invention provided them. After WWI, the production of the H-5, a later incarnation of the original mixer Herbert Johnson designed, was moved into mass production. The design philosophy was simple: uncompromising quality and reliability. A design philosophy that still informs all of KitchenAid’s products, today.

A key to the success of KitchenAid was designing and developing high-quality products that were accessible to most consumers. The general accessibility of KitchenAid products coupled with their simplicity and reliability, caused the popularity of KitchenAid to grow exponentially. In fact, many of the designs of the past are still used because of their functionality and performance.

Similar to its popularity in the past, KitchenAid is still a very poplar brand that compliments many well-equipped kitchens throughout North America and beyond. From its roots as a producer of mixers, KitchenAid has grown into a very large brand that offers consumers a diverse range of kitchen appliances and culinary accessories.
